This was a Waverley Dowsers talk presented by dowsing author Michael Haxeltine ‘Chat about Chakras’; 13th. Jan.’15 at Godalming in Surrey.

Michael likes to build his talks around a ‘fun time’ and this talk was no exception,  although the session was actually serious in that it showed how close organs were to each other and where they linked to arrears of influence of the Chakra centres.

Mike Haxeltine demonstrating Chakra areas while using his body as a ‘whiteboard’

15 keen eared dowsing enthusiasts; attentive to Mike taking us through the basics of Chakra centres. He started by wearing a white paper boiler suit and asked the audience to glue our various internal organs (in cardboard cut-outs) onto it, so that we could get a good idea of which chakra will have the most influence on each organ. Mike showed how the energy at each of the seven sites could be balanced to harmonise with each other.

His special effect was to show that even a plastic “replica” dragon could be dowsed to show the positions of this fabulous beast’s own Chakra positions. Some hands on trials by the floor helped us get the feel for the process. Mike got as far as to show that an animal has a similar arrangement and could be balanced and treated in the same way as for us.

I’m sure we will get a chance to continue this in the future where we should find we are also able to balance, give and receive from trees and stones.

Geoff Mitchell

Mike and Geoff go to the Guildford Institute to spread the word about dowsing to an audience of fifty five.
He opened up his talk with a brief mention of the use of the dowsing L rod with Geoff [Vice Chair] demonstrating the simplicity of making a dowsing rods.
MH-Guildford-Inst_smHe said that he did not mind questions.
The audience were then shown a picture which could be seen thee ways. Michael explained that just because you did not see the significance at first it would gradually dawn on you and dowsing is like that.
A point everyone had a go with the dowsing rod left on their chair. Many were able to find north, point to where Geoff was and also point to the direction of the main clock tower in Guildford
Then the Audience saw a demonstration of how an aura in a person could be detected using the dowsing rod. Then they participated in another experiment to show how the mind can transmit information. They saw another experiment to show how a person’s aura could be depressed when using a mobile phone. Most people seemed to be shocked at seeing the effect of this experiment.
Michael explained how subtle energies could affect people central nervous system. He showed how disturbed baby might sleep at one end of cot if it was trying to get away from the influence of either ground or manmade detrimental energies. Many people identified with these phenomena.
Michael gave frequent opportunities to ask questions and at least three people challenged Michael on some of the experiment. A healthy response
MH-Guildford-Inst-sm

He showed the audience a number of other experiments but not time for all those which he brought with him.

Sunday 11 January 2015. Egyptian and French Scientific Pendulums with Sandy McKenzie

In the early and mid twentieth century, French physicists and engineers were investigating the energy emitted by the pendulums that were discovered in Egyptian tombs. From these they developed a range of Egyptian pendulums each emitting different frequencies. They also discovered the Thoth pendulum that absorbs, detects and emits frequencies on command.

They went on to explore other shapes and created Scientific Energy pendulums. These devices do not rely on mental questions by the dowser. These tools can detect the frequencies and the quality of energetic emissions from people, objects and places. They can also be used to change frequency patterns to correct imbalances or to create beneficial energies. Some specialised pendulums can remove curses and black ‘spells’.

Sandy will demonstrate these pendulums and and you will have an opportunity to use them as well.

The Deeper History of Christmas with Andy Thomas
The Bassil Shippam Centre, Tozer Way,

Meetings start at 2pm Doors open 1.40pm, 14th December 2014
Talk at the Sussex Dowsers

In a fascinating and uplifting presentation, Andy Thomas uncovers the intriguing deeper background to the festive season. From the ancient celebration of light in the winter darkness, to astrological themes, mystic connections and the marking of the birth of messiahs, mid-December has long been a time for rejoicing.

The traditional Christmas stories echo many ancient myths and still contain powerful truths. Yet Christmas was banned in Puritan times, and splintered into many guises before the Victorians rehabilitated the festival. Andy shows how, for all the modern commercialisation, we can still find meaning in Christmas today and keep the flame of light in the winter darkness alive
Andy is best known as a leading researcher into unexplained mysteries and is the author of the acclaimed The Truth Agenda, which explores paranormal phenomena and global cover-ups. But he is also author of several books on history and local folklore (including the Lewes Bonfire Night festivities). One of his favourite reads is Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, and Andy believes that annual festivals have wider meaning for us than is recognised.

The Sussex Dowsers bring another great subject for members and Guests to attend.

Carnac in France and Brittany (France)  in general has an ancient relationship with Britain, even today there are Dragon energy connections between the two country’s as well other forms of energy connections, not withstanding that the culture that built the Megaliths from Scotland to north Africa was the same culture even if it wasn’t the same tribes. Although any culture that was powerful enough to have spread across 3,500 km certainly had movement of people round the empire.

Below are several videos of the legacy of these ancient culture, Howard Crowhurst has built himself a deserved reputation as an expert on the Carnac Alignments and lives and works in France.

A further video from Howard is a ten minute snippet from his excellent lecture to the Megalithomania audience

And a  further snippet of video from Howard about the Brittany Megaliths at the megalithomania conference in 2009

With several Waverley dowsers members also visiting Carnac in France recently, below is a small video taken from a Passage Chamber.

Honey Comb

There is a great article in the British Society of Dowsers from Richard Creightmore based on original work by Bee keeper John Harding who has written a book about the siting of Bee hives over geomagnetic stress. It has long been known that Geomagnetic stress is harmful to humans which is why it has been named ‘geomagnetic stress’ although again we are also aware that for other life forms, what is harmful to humans can be beneficial for others, cats are known to enjoy laying on certain geomagnetic stress lines for periods of time. In this article Richard highlights that insects and he mentions ‘colony’ insects in particular Ant’s and Bees, prefer to establish their colony’s on what humans call geomagnetic stress lines.

Richard’s research has found that Bee colony’s (farmed Bees) are healthier and more productive if the Bee ‘combs’  are allowed to be created in a north, south direction and providing that the Bee Hives are situated on a geomagnetic stress line. You must read the full article as the recognition and importance of accepting that geomagnetic stress is only stressful to people to live and sleep on but is an essential facet of the natural environment which we disrupt at our peril.

Geomagnetic stress lines are usually caused by underground streams crossing and the interplay causing energy to become ‘stressed’ or out of tune due to the way that the energy flows disrupt the harmony of each other, Maria Wheatley points out this type of ‘stressed energy’ is only caused by underground springs that are created by ‘surface water’ (rain water) percolating down through the soil and creating underground flows. (as against flows of Primary  water which doesn’t, which Maria calls Ying water) see our article here

This ‘black’ energy as some call it can rise as a vortices at the point of underground water flows crossing, but the energy can also ‘flow’ up or down one or both of the underground water flows and even jump onto other lines of transference such as traveling along geological ‘veins’ or faults, in effect think of the way electricity will flow along conducting paths that it can find, then so does ‘black energy’ flow along paths that are conducive to its traveling.

Black energy (de-harmonised water energy) has been known to be created in underground water crossings and then jump onto sewage pipes travel along and then manifest out in homes many miles distant from where it was first created, this can be found more and more as geomancers ‘chase down’ instances of ‘sick building syndrome’.

Bear in mind that all energy is conscious and is rarely deliberately harmful to human’s, it is just surviving in a Universe which has given it the right to exist.
This article can be found in a summary version of the BSD’s quarterly magazine or complete on Richards website at (www.landandspirit.net) to jump directly to Richards article about Bees, then follow this link here

Finding ways to practise using your energy field to find answers that you may not normally be able to find is a great way to strengthen your dowsing skills, below is a short video on how to use a pendulum to detect when your boiled eggs are cooked to the perfect way that you like them. I know you can use an egg timer, but they don’t always prove to be ideal, because the size of the egg may vary, the temperature of the egg when it goes in to the water may vary (eggs kept in the fridge or left out in the open) and the flame may be lower or higher and the water may take longer to reach temperature, so using a simple ‘egg timer’ is not very accurate. Using your dowsing Pendulum, can be very accurate as this demonstration shows.

Please try this out, just have courage and trust the pendulum, remember the pendulum is just a, indicator of your personal energy field, you are the detector, the pendulum is your needle.

A talk regarding the Belinus line by Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare

A talk regarding the Belinus line by Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare

All of us at Waverley dowsers had all been looking forward to the visit and talk from Caroline and Gary about their book ‘The Spine of Albion’ and their journey in discovering and dowsing these two long forgotten Dragon lines, but as they unrolled the history of the British landscape and society over the path of this line (Belinus line), it seemed more and more that the memories of these two Dragons may have slipped from the consciousness of the British population at large but there seems to be an underplay of secrecy with the energy lines still somehow been utilised wittingly or unwittingly which begs the question is this spirit energy encouraging people to engage and interact with it for the benefit of both or is it a one sided use of secret societies extracting positives from the Dragon line for their own use. These two questions are ones that may have entwined answers, as the story of what was discovered becomes apparent as you read your way through the book.

Gary and Caroline both came to the Waverley Dowsers meeting hall on a wet and windy evening but it was also a warm evening as if the Dragons themselves had come to listen to a story that they wished had never been forgotten. The buzz of energy was high with people smiling and brimming with excitement as the book, ‘the Spine of Albion’ has been published for a couple of years now and its reputation was beginning to spread as people began to understand the importance that conscious energies have played in the evolution of Gaia.

Interestingly Gary and Caroline’s talk is about how they discovered and what they felt through their dowsing, sprinkled with stunningly interesting facts from British history, while the book concentrates more on the ancient and not so ancient use’s that people have put the Dragon lines through with history shouting loudly ‘THESE DRAGON LINES ARE IMPORTANT’. The talk was full of British history straddling the male and female Dragon lines that weaved their way up the spine of Britain along the central line named as the Belinus line.

Gary informs us that Belinus was one of the ancient Kings of Britain and he provides a brief synopsis of his Kingly line, Belinus is talked about in Geoffrey of Monmouth’s ‘Kings of Britain’ (Historia Regum Britanniae – here) Gary imparted bits of British history which is generally unknown although long documented in dusty parchments or rarely known studies, the talk was littered with gems from archaeology and geology as well as historic facts documented in books as well as lots of local information gleaned from their visits to each site mentioned along the Belinus line.

Gary and Caroline’s unearthing of little known facts and placing them in to the right context was an amazing piece of investigation that has taken Gary fifteen years and Caroline nine years of investigation before they collated their information in to this massive four hundred and seventy eight pages of seductive adventure.

The talk consisted of the starting point at the Isle of Wight and finished some two hours later with a short break for a cup of tea somewhere in the middle which is normal for Waverley dowsers, Gary finished just past Uffington and briefly mentioned some information about Warwickshire, two hours talking to go less than 200 miles, I would think a eight hour talk would be needed to give justice to this brilliant book of the Belinus line and the history built upon its energies.

In short there is a perception that the knowledge of the twin Dragon lines of energy was known about in Neolithic times and venerated with sacred buildings and standing stones and circles built on and used to enhance/direct the energies of both Dragon energy lines, the habit continued through the ages of Church building, secret societies of Knights Templar and Masons taking over the earlier roles of by now secret knowledge with Royalty and the powerful becoming often immersed into these secretive society’s for their patronage and connections, they too would benefit from the enhancing powers of the Dragons, Gary hints on knowledge that has come to light since the publication of their book and willingly brings this new knowledge in to their talk which brings life to the whole presentation.

Gary mentions that he tries to base his talks at different venues on the local sections covered in the book, so if you are in Scotland or the English midlands you will get a huge chunk of local history relevant to your group and then of course you can investigate further in your locality, which is an excellent idea.

I have immersed myself in the book since picking up a signed copy and already the Waverley Dowsers have been talking about investigating some local landmarks mentioned in Garys talk, possibly with Garry and Caroline acting as Shepherds.

Michael Haxeltine was asked to give a talk to the national organisation R.I.L.K.O in London recently for a talk entitled ‘Dowsing: Using the past to find out the Future‘. He took part of “his classroom” to the talk. This is a picture of him at 3.40 pm  on the 31st October getting ready to catch the train with approximately twenty five kilos of “kit” for his talk .

Michael Haxeltine and a large Bovis scale chart

Michael Haxeltine and a large Bovis scale chart

R.I.L.K.O’s main objective is to look into ancient knowledge and myths, Michael had tailored his talk to do just that.
Michael opened his talk with his first book and the concept of the Bovis scale which is a scale designed to help investigators provide a consistent measure for their researches into subtle energy’s. Because the Bovis scale provides a chart which a dowser or subtle energy investigator can calibrate themselves against it should allow peer review of any discoveries and investigations.

The first trick to come out of the rucksack was for everyone to take a dowsing rod to point their nose,  by using the basic dowsing technique of making a command to oneself, the other dowsing method is to ask a question. Michael went on to illustrate how powerful the mind was, the need for psychic protection and the likely substance in the Heisenberg’s ” observers paradox” where observers can influence  the outcome of experiments.  He also demonstrated a second experiment to show how a group of people can influence another. This clearly broke the myth for some about minds affecting other people .

At this point Michael drew the audience’s attention to the power of subtle energies with an ongoing experiment in the room.  Three volunteers were monitoring energies radiating from a pyramid which he had set up, and using the Bovis concept to quantify/measure them.
The audience interacted well, with one member of the audience contributing to the evening by showing water shaken in a bottle produces a greater aura dowsing reaction that the unshaken water.

Another group from the audience explained their experience bringing golden light into healing by the use of a pendulum.
Michael explained with another experiment that the myth of protecting ones house in medieval times,   with Rowan, could be supported by demonstrating the masking effect of Rowan wood on subtle energies.

In another experiment he showed one way in which man made energy lines could be generated.

He spoke about the similarity between the ancient custom of African women wearing an open neck  [brass like] collar or Torc that is similar to one found in a Midlands Saxon hoar. He then drew the audience’s attention to the work of Lakhovsky in the 1930’s when he showed that shape/form could have healing properties.
Another experiment was undertaken by the audience, to evaluate some documents. This was done by dowsing over a template graduated to represent a gigahertz scale.  The normal practice  for most dowsers would be  to use their own scale  e.g 1:10. However there is often a disparity in the results hence Michaels attempt to promote internationally the concept of using a standard scale (Bovis scale) to dowse over.  Hence the use of a standard template as mentioned in his first self published book ‘Bovis Unit in Everyday Life’.
Numerous other experiments were extracted from his rucksack for the audience to participate  in or comment on, These included the emergence of a fluffy rabbit to illustrate the point not to be phased by odd occurrences.
He returned again to the ongoing experiment with the pyramid and except for one as yet unexplained blip the reading on the Bovis Gigahertz template clearly showed that the pyramid propagated energy.
He had many more things to show but the venue had to close, Michael’s Rabbit needed feeding  and he had to make sure he at least caught the last train home.

Maria Wheatley has just published another book on ancient sites called Divining Ancient Sites – Insights into their creation which includes an astrological ley line which may interest the Waverley group!

Some of the topics in the book, such as healing earth energies and how certain earth energies can cleanse our body water – which holds onto memories just like our minds – as water has memory.

Maria recently spoke about the geodetic system of earth energies to the British Society of Dowsers – earth energy group – to explain these powerful energies and how we can locate them. I showed them on a field trip how to use particular sides of the body to feel for earth energies which they enjoyed and felt was a new and exciting way to dowse. (Read a Waverley members write up HERE: )

Maria also talks one of the most powerful leys in the world which has key sacred sited located upon it which mirror the planets of the solar system. I show how the planet that is associated with the site and how we can tap into the energies of both the planet and the sacred site to enhance our lives.

Maria also gave a great talk earlier this year at the Ley hunters gathering in Kent, there is a great Radio interview with Maria which we posted at the time, check that out HERE for some great new insights

Maria’s book ‘Diving Ancient Sites also discuss the magnetic connection we have to our birth place – the land upon which we incarnated and how this relationship can affect our health and well being. This concept was discovered some 50 years ago and was validated by Stanford University and then tucked away….

When Waverley dowsers visited their namesake local Abbey ruins in September 2014 they knew that it would be difficult to do everything that they wanted to do in the time that was available due to the twilight drawing in at this time of the year, so Waverley dowser Geoff Mitchell our in-house electrical engineer gathered together his equipment to provide additional working time by providing the lights for the evening, which will show in our photographic story. To view the many photos, please place your mouse on the photo and click the arrow that will appear.

To read the full article of the evenings work and to see Don Bryan’s discoveries of a main Church Altar and five additional Altars, each in their own mini Chapel please follow this link HERE

Waverley Dowsers will be re-visiting the Abbey for more dowsing fun in 2015 the missing cellars will be on the list and much more investigative work to be done, you can see from the wonderful photos that there must be many more hidden treasure that are worth dowsing for.

Finding reasons to dowse and improve yourself can be difficult on occasion, you can’t always go to an ancient Stone Circle or Barrow complex to practise with your dowsing rods and improve your intuition, what we ned is good practical reasons for getting out the Pendulum or the ‘L’ rods and start getting dirty.
Waverley dowsers members have penned some great articles to provide ideas and pointers, see if you can also think of some great ways of using dowsing and let us know on our contact page.

We have the ‘Choose a book to study with‘ from a shelf full of books article as well as the interesting use of a Pendulum in the kitchen, you can use the Pendulum or dowsing rod to tell you when something is cooked to perfection, I use a Pendulum to tell me when my boiled eggs are cooked, read the article about how one of our team use dowsing to cook Broccoli Here.  Our Chairman who has been a professional gardener and landscape uses dowsing to help him choose the right plant for a garden as well as finding the right location and orientation (which side faces the sun) of the plant for a 100% planting success, he doe not get any plants dying or struggling to grow in his gardens. You can read the article about Mikes presentation Here and there is of course the good old fashioned ‘I lost my car keys’ scenario where you find your keys with your ‘L’ rods possibly saving you a lot of money and frustrations.

Waverley dowsers provide training and talks at their meeting hall on regular basis, come along, have a great couple of hours of fun, learn something new and meet interesting people from all walks of life.

Below is a fabulous photo taking at the Devil’s Den standing stone, although it looks like a Dolman, apparently it is not and is only one in a chain of similar stones near the Avebury complex in Wiltshire, some of our members recently went to a weekend talk and a days worth of dowsing with the British Society of Dowsers, read the article HERE

Dowsing the Dragon forces in England is a talk about the Belinius line which is the longest Dragon Ley energy line in Britain. The talk by authors Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare will be on the 11th November 2014 at our normal meeting centre ‘Unitarian hall, Meadrow, Godalming, GU7 3JB  please arrive at 7pm for a 7.30 pm start

Dowsing the Dragon forces in England

Gary Biltcliffe and Caroline Hoare will be talking about their new book ‘The Spine of Albion’, the 15-year research and exploration of the  north-south equivalent of the famous St Michael Line called the  Belinus Line. It is considered to be Britain’s longest ley that stretches from the Isle of Wight at the base of England and ending at Durness on the northern tip of Scotland. This secret alignment connects six cities, including the ancient capitals of England and  Scotland, geographical centres of power and many famous prehistoric complexes.

Having a natural ability to dowse the yin and yang – female  and male -dragon force in the land, the authors discovered that if they follow this north-south axis it forms a Node at key places of power within the British landscape. Their fascinating and thrilling pilgrimage  uncovered a landscape full of hidden secrets and untold treasures including many legendary as well as real-life historical characters  that helped to shape our nation. For further details see their website below:
www.belinusline.com

Waverley dowsers will get a chance to dowse for the yin and yang dragon forces themselves, don’t miss this exciting talk and chance to get expert advice in dowsing the mysterious energy lines of the British isles.

The Waverley dowsers training session was a full house with fourteen intrepid attendees with various levels of dowsing skills but all eager to investigate the dowsing itch.
With two short hours to work through a full itinerary of dowsing exercise’s and trying to find time for Michael to provide as much knowledge as possible in the short time seemed fairly breathtaking at times, all too soon the hour tea break appeared and it was time for tea and biscuits all round.

The first hour consisted of dowsing ‘L’ rod use and exercise practise while the second hour was taking up with Pendulum training with a whole new fresh set of exercise’s and lots of new information provided to help with using the pendulum. In short there was just not enough time for the Waverley dowsing students to take on board all that was delivered, the good news is that the training session will be replicated again soon so that the students can continue their practise with more experienced guidance.

When the two hour training session was over most of the students stayed behind and continued with another thirty minutes practise and discussion outside the Waverley dowsers hall on the lovely lawn under the huge Tulip Tree (liriodendron tulipifera) which sadly had shed most of its leaves.

Michael Haxeltine will be providing a talk on the Bovis unit, a measure devised especially for Dowsers, the talk will be held at the R.I.L.K.O conference on the 31st October (click here to visit the website) R.I.L.K.O (Research into lost knowledge organisation) provides a talk on lost kowledge on the last friday of every month 7 months of the year at, 50 Gloucester Place, London W1U 8EA.

Waverley Dowsers have been encouraging dowsers to use the Bovis scale in an attempt to produce a standardisation of scale so that dowsers can compare their work to those of other dowsers. Using a standard scale in this manner also brings science into dowsing because now we should be able to use repeatable experiments and if the results are not the same by using the Bovis Gigahertz scale you can begin to find out why there is a difference between the readings. The scale is used by many dowsers in many different ways but to help dowsers create a comparable ratio when dowsing this is a great tool,

The Bovis scale was created by a Frenchman ‘Andre Bovis’ and is extensively used in Geomancy and Health dowsing for more information on the Bovis scale we have provided several links below and a printable Bovis scale chart which you may download or print to keep.
